the types of media industry's 







  • Publishing (novels, books etc.)
 a single writer produces a manuscript that the publisher is responsible for editing and presenting to the public as a full feature novel
  • Magazines
 a monthly or weekly production focused on products within a particualr genre or a lifestyle is produced
  • Newspapers
 a daily paper containing all the current news and opinions of the writers and editors
  • Animation
 an animated drawing shown as a film or tv show filmed using alternative methods
  • Film
 a feature length video shown in cinemas as an experience
  • Television
 a single or in the case of a series, set of small videos shown on tv, usally with advert breaks.
  • Web 2.0
the current-day version of the internet, allowing for multiple types of media and information to be shared around the world
  • Music
the music industry is made up of artists and publishers who generate music and provide via radio, physical media and concerts
  • Radio
an audio only broadcast, providing music, information and talk shows
  • Video Games
 an interactive program designed usually to challenge the player or players.
  • Facilities
the many various types of equipment and location rental avadable to other media industrys, ranging from renting a office to a high tech camera.
